Carcharodontosaurus, whose name means “shark-toothed lizard,” was a massive theropod comparable in size to Tyrannosaurus rex. Its teeth were built for slicing flesh, featuring a laterally compressed shape, razor-sharp serrated edges, and a powerful recurved profile ideal for tackling large prey.
