Ordovician polychaete worms were marine segmented worms that lived during the Ordovician Period, approximately 485–444 million years ago. Like modern polychaetes, they belonged to the annelid group and inhabited ancient seafloors ranging from shallow tropical shelves to deeper marine environments.
