Pterosaur bones are rare fossils because they were thin-walled in life like bird bones – too easy to break or wear down the ends.  They tend to be found crushed but some deposits preserve them well enough for confident identification at least to order.  Their diversity in the Kem Kem beds is still a mystery because only isolated bones and teeth have been found so far and few studies have been published.

The ends show some bone loss and one end is discolored but it’s an essentially-complete bone.
