Two fish, 114mm and 67mm on 145mm slab.  Very rare.

A variety of fishes are known from the Middle to Late Miocene Monterey Formation but there aren’t many references available.  The ones that are known tend to be open ocean or deepwater forms. The larger fish appears to be a viper fish?
