People find oddball fossils in the Weeks Formation but you don’t see much on the market. Here’s an arthropod you seem to see through and yet you can make out the basic body outline. There’s just enough of it preserved to pique the curiosity of a collector of unique specimens.

Will imaging techniques of the future see something in it that we can’t see now. Who knows.
