Description
Arthropod with Selkirkia
Middle Cambrian
Marjum Formation
Marjum Pass, House Range, Millard County
Utah, USA.
The arthropod preserves the characteristic body plan of one of the dominant animals of the Cambrian, while Selkirkia represents an ancient tube dwelling worm that lived partially enclosed within a protective organic tube. Specimens preserving both organisms on the same slab are highly appealing for their scientific interest and display value.
38mm arthropod and 29mm Selkirkia on 74mm slab
