Meekoceras is a genus of Triassic ammonite known from different parts of the world (North America, Russia, India, China, Japan, and Madagascar.

There was a time when ammonites from the Thaynes Formation were seen at shows but no one collects out there anymore.  Every once in a while, a few appear on the market from an old collection.
