Mongolia
A fossil jaw fragment attributed to Khankhuuluu mongoliensis gen. et sp. nov., a basal tyrannosauroid theropod from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia. This specimen represents part of an early member of the tyrannosauroid lineage and is significant for its taxonomic and evolutionary importance within Asian theropod assemblages.
The material consists of a partial mandibular element preserved in fossil form, recovered from sedimentary deposits associated with Late Cretaceous terrestrial ecosystems. Specimens of this type are typically studied in the context of tyrannosauroid diversity and morphological transition within the group.
Extremely rare 135mm theropod maxilla with one complete erupted tooth and two still in the jaw for a total of three teeth
