Big 60mm worm on 195mm slab with three rare trilobites, average 20mm each.

Here we have three trilobites heading in the same general direction. Who knows what the worm was doing.

Some collectors like associations which are matrix pieces with two or more different taxa – usually two different species or genera. This one contains two different phyla and offers the juxtaposition of the hard-shelled and the soft-bodied – all preserved on a piece of the Weeks Formation. You don’t see many associations of any kind from the Weeks. The colors of the rock and the specimens would also make the piece stand out in any collection.
