Olenellus is one of the earliest-known trilobite genera.  It lived only during the Early Cambrian.

Areas to legally collect fossils in California have become more restricted over the past thirty years and this is especially true for hunting trilobites there.  This is a chance to pick up what might be considered the classic California trilobite.
