Problematica, Burgess Shale.

Pollingeria is a genus of animal from the Burgess Shale that still resists identification over 100 years after its discovery.  Walcott suggested they were the chaetae of a much larger wormlike animal.  Other authors have proposed it’s some kind of colonial organism, while others think each specimen is an individual animal.
