26mm undescribed hydrozoan on 65mm squared slab. First we have ever seen. Compare this to the photograph of the living species Bolinopsis.

Hydrozoans belong to the Phylum Cnidaria – related to jellyfish and corals. They have somehow survived across major and minor extinction events since the Late Cambrian even to today and are quite diverse (around 3700 species described).
