Description

Reptile
Late Triassic
Bull Canyon Formation
Guadalupe County, New Mexico, USA

Fine 0.35 inch tooth. Chip at base on back, but still showy.

Many extinct reptiles are known only from isolated teeth or jaw sections or bones – often not enough for a formal name.  On top of that the teeth are also often very similar in form.  Here’s a specimen for a collectors who would like to add any kind of reptile teeth to their collections.
