Nymphaea is a genus of waterlily within the Family Nymphaeaceae – one of the oldest families of angiosperms dating back all the way to the Early Cretaceous.

You learn about a flower like this if you read through technical journals but you don’t expect to find one for sale.  Here’s one for the plant collector or the general fossil collector looking for something unusual.
