Yoshi minor was a species of sabercat that lived 5-10 million years ago and is known from various sites in Asia. Its smaller skull and lightly-built skeleton would have given it the appearance of a cheetah but it belongs to a different branch of the cat family. The genus Yoshi is known from the Late Miocene to Pleistocene and has no modern relatives.
