Incredibly rare 150mm cephalaspid fish on 225mm slab.

Stensiopelta is an extinct genus of armored jawless fish (Class Osteostraci) that lived during the Devonian Period. It has been assigned to the unranked group, Cephalaspidomorphi. It’s called a cephalaspid for short. This specimen preserves the complete fish which is extremely rare. Cephalaspids are normally only found as head shields.
