113mm coelacanth on 134mm slab. Apparently this specimen is an odd chimaera. The head seems to be composited from the counterpart slab so it is upside down from the body. Head and body are both real and likely from the same fossil specimen. We are guessing that the original slab split in such a way that each side was missing part so the collectors chose to put it together this way. Tail is quite nice and it is priced cheaper than you will ever see one anywhere else.
