Squatina, the angel shark genus, is among the oldest of the modern sharks dating back to the Late Jurassic at least.   The teeth from the Sharktooth Hill Bonebed are generally 5-10 mm wide (roughly 1/4 – 1/2 inch) across the root and not as high as they are wide.
