Unusual 0.2 inch vertebra.

This might be a lizard vertebra.  It’s a nice specimen for someone starting a collection of vertebrate fossils – a great comparison if you have a much larger vertebra next to it.

This one was collected by the late David Jones, fossil hunter extraordinaire, master cast maker and all-around good guy.
