A striking fossil manual ungual (hand claw) belonging to a member of the Therizinosauridae, a group of unusual, long-clawed theropod dinosaurs from the Late Cretaceous. Unlike typical carnivorous theropods, therizinosaurs evolved enormous forelimbs and exaggerated claws adapted for specialized feeding behaviors.
