Isolated teeth and claws of dinosaurs can be difficult to impossible to identify to genus especially if they come from a fauna with a few possibilities present.  Claws of theropods tend to follow basic shapes which also hampers identification.  Furthermore, this claw comes from a deposit where the diversity of theropods present remains to be established.
