Description

Middle Cambrian

Wheeler Shale

Millard County, Utah, USA

Extremely rare, 36mm arachnomorph arthropod on 116mm slab. First we have seen.

Arthropod,

Nettapezoura is a genus of arthropods that may belong to a group more ancient and perhaps ancestral to trilobites.  It also appears that Sidneya, a rare arthropod of the Burgess Shale, is the closest-known relative of Nettapezoura.
