410mm CAST of the skull of a strange temnospondyl amphibian.

Rhadalognathus is a genus of amphibian of the Order Temnospondyli.  It is unusual because of its occurrence in a Middle Triassic layer rather than a Late Triassic one Arizona is better-known for.  It appears it is still known only from one quarry.

Casts are affordable visual aids to fossil collectors, museum curators, and science teachers.  They are life-size copies of actual fossils which provide an excellent alternative to displaying something when there’s a worry of breakage and replaceability.
