29mm theropod tooth

This theropod tooth from Uzbekistan dates back to the Late Cretaceous, around 90 million years ago, when the region was part of a lush, dinosaur-filled landscape. With its sharp edges and curved shape, the tooth belonged to a carnivorous dinosaur—possibly a member of the ceratosaur or tyrannosauroid lineages known from Central Asia. Fossils from this region are rare and often fragmentary, making a well-preserved tooth an exciting and valuable find. It’s a sharp remnant of a fierce predator that once stalked the ancient plains of prehistoric Asia.
